Role: - Senior Associate Consultant (Technical Business Analyst)
Location: - Sydney
Status - 1 Year fixed term, extendable based on project requirement

JOB DESCRIPTION: -
We are looking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst (Tech BA) to contribute to our Cloud Transformation and IT Optimization Program. This role involves supporting the migration of IT infrastructure to the cloud and enhancing our IT monitoring and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cloud migration (particularly moving systems from on-premises to cloud) and proficiency in analysing IT infrastructure and application logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration efforts for moving on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Evaluate workloads and applications to determine their suitability for cloud migration, identifying potential risks and impacts, and collaborating with technical teams to plan and execute the migration.
- Review and interpret infrastructure and application logs to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Gather and document reporting requirements from business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of data needs for cloud systems and infrastructure.
- Define and implement cloud monitoring metrics, ensuring the ongoing optimization and performance of cloud-based resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration, provide recommendations for optimization, and ensure system performance meets organizational goals.
- Create detailed business and technical documentation, including user stories, technical specifications, and clear communication of business requirements.
- Use log analysis and system performance data to provide actionable insights to drive improvements and inform business decisions.
- Hands-on experience as a BA in cloud migration , particularly with moving infrastructure from on-premises to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in log analysis for both infrastructure and application monitoring , identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.
- Experience in gathering, defining, and documenting reporting requirements for IT systems and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud migration best practices.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment of goals and clear understanding of technical requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified, etc.) are a plus.
- Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and infrastructure optimization best practices .
