Role: Unit Manager - HR
Location: London, UK
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geo HR Specialist to oversee and support HR-related activities in the UK. The HR Manager will be responsible for design and institutionalization of HR processes and making sure all local HR compliance is achieved.
Role and responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the design, development, local implementation and coordination of HR strategies, policies and operations in partnership with business unit and regional leadership
- Evaluate challenges in the business and propose solutions to regional and corporate leadership
- Work closely with leadership, line managers, and employees to support business needs.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Ensure company policies and HR practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and proactively implement necessary updates.
- Support audits, legal cases, and compliance-related matters, collaborating with legal teams when required.
- Design employee engagement practices to create a positive work environment
- Recommend and deliver local solutions covering multiple areas of human resources including employee on-boarding, local benefits, training, employee / labour relations or other services.
- Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as compensation, recruiting, payroll, organizational effectiveness, etc.

- Bachelor's/master's degree in human resources or business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
- 10 + years of HR experience in UK, ideally in an international matrix environment, with experience in Employee relations, UK employment law, Compensation & Benefits, HR compliance and administration.
- Proven experience in handling complex ER cases, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of professionalism
