Roles and Responsibilities
HR Finance Partner
- Lead the Finance organization for the HR team covering the financial management for the costs related to this function.
- Partner with HR functional leaders to coordinate and drive the execution of finance activities, including quarterly / yearly budget planning, forecasting, pacing, close and reporting activities, and other ad-hoc requests. Prepare detailed variance analysis and manage the gap between actuals and budget.
- Implement accounting process using HR taxonomy to enable easy cost classification and tracking to provide visibility to product/divisions performance. Identify financial & utilization trends, highlight risk and opportunities and drive data-based business decisions.
- Lead monthly/quarterly closing process with FP&A and Controllership teams. Develop and maintain strong controllership partnership in all aspects of financial operations to ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures and minimize risk.
- Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modelling to support reporting and business case preparation, including renegotiation of contracts and/or insourcing or outsourcing activities.
- Lead transformation for organisation to achieve its targets and develop process to track cost savings and perform financial modelling, etc.
- Support determination of separation costs and/or costs that should be non-GAAP adjustments.
- Support efforts to implement standard work for finance processes and continuous improvement projects through lean methodologies, tools, and concepts.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- OFLP, FMP, CAS, or other GE leadership program experience preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience and progressive responsibility in FP&A, Controllership, or Cost Management
Desired Characteristics
- Prior experience in GE Vernova, or Corp/Segment/headquarter financial management or FP&A roles preferred
- Strong financial analysis background with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong business acumen
- Prior experience in FP&A and HR cost management are a plus
- Strong management skills and demonstrated capability to influence
- Prior experience as a people leader is a plus
- Ability to effectively lead in a matrixed and virtual team environment, working through the extended lean teams and cross functional teams to accomplish objective
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
- Demonstrated ability to work with global remote and cross functional/cultural teams
