Infosys Public Services is seeking a Technology Lead -Data Scientist, to join our Team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative)

  • A talented and experienced AI and Analytics Specialist.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, generative AI, and analytics, with hands-on experience in implementing real-world use cases.
  • Candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions that enhance our platform and services.
  • Using problem-solving mindset to understand business challenges and how to apply AI expertise to solve them.
  • Innovation and creativity in data analysis, problem solving and presentation of solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production.
  • Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing.
  • Design accurate and scalable AI solutions.
  • Develop, test, and implement solutions as per design
  • Use-case derivation and solution creation from structured/unstructured data.
  • Storytelling, Business & stakeholder communication and Documentation.

  • 4 years' experience in software solution design, development, testing, implementation and support.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong track record of developing and deploying successful AI/ML models and experience with applying the same to produce high visibility AI solutions / products.
  • A strong understanding of data analytics best practices, standards, and guidelines.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning), and their applications.
  • Experience in building integrated solutions with NLP, Vision, Recommendation Engines, Forecast, Time-Series, Predictive Algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., : Azure, GCP, Databricks, Docker, AzureML, Git).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
  • Experience in Gen AI Technologies like Generative AI: NLP / others.
Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
