Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst in Capital Markets Domain with Back Office Operations experience. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA / Quincy, MA or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Experience as a BA with back office knowledge and experience in capital markets.
  • Experience in Agile development framework, product lifecycle development and JIRA.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management and software development
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of hands on experience as a BA with back office knowledge and experience in capital markets.
  • At least 6 years of experience in requirement elicitation techniques like JAD/sessions, workshops, interviews, surveys etc.
  • Ability to analyze and draw succinct conclusions to present findings.
  • Work with back office teams, including operations, settlements, and accounting, to gather detailed requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and process flow diagrams that accurately capture the back office's needs.
  • Identify gaps between current systems/processes and desired outcomes, recommending solutions to bridge these gaps.
  • Map out existing back office processes, such as trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting, to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills.
  • Stakeholder management and reporting.
  • Project and talent management.
  • Experience with project management and relevant tools.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
