Infosys is seeking an Associate Practice Engagement Manager (APEM) for our ESG and Sustainability practice. In this role the leader will accomplish sales budget and forecasts by developing marketing opportunities and plans; devising sales strategy; implementing sales plans; managing and developing practices to achieve, carrying a personal quota, and exceeding Infosys growth targets. Deliver sales budget with YOY bookings growth. Act disruptively in the market in a way that we move ahead of market trends and take market and account share from the competition. Develops the market for Infosys Sustainability service offerings by designing, developing, and executing the Sales plan in line with annual/quarterly objectives. Enables and tracks business pipeline, deal closure, account management and contract management. Develops and maintains a team spirit reflecting the role of Sales in the company. Sustains rapport with key accounts; explores specific needs; anticipates new opportunities. Engage the consultant community in the selling process and energize them. The APEM works together with their manager (PEM/Senior PEM) to build an account plan and is responsible for client management based on the account plan. Usually, the APEM handles a single account or part of a large account, with an indicative annual book of business of up to $10 million.

Role Description
• Client relationship management and business development: Practice sales across industry verticals in the Sustainability space. Manage client relationships, build a portfolio, and own the opportunity management cycle (Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close)
• Client delivery assurance: Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client.
• Account planning and governance: Create the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
• Sustainability expertise to conduct initial conversations independently before involving Subject Matter Experts
• Detailed knowledge of multiple industry sectors such as Food, Consumer goods, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Media, Telecommunications, etc
• Sales-oriented mindset with a keen focus on driving real business growth
• Proactive and ambitious attitude towards business development, blending lead generation with deal closure
• Knowledge of various ESG and sustainability regulations
• Ability to illustrate how technology plays an enabler and accelerator's role in meeting sustainability objectives. Should be able to construct use cases and position them with business & IT stakeholders.
• Work with business and IT executives from the client to identify the business needs and drive the initial discussions to fulfill business growth requirements.
• Sales and business development: Drive winning solutions and proposals.
• Build partnerships with large and small players to construct winning propositions.
• Knowledge of cloud-specific go-to-market solutions across GCP/AWS/Azure, Cloud consulting, cloud migration, cloud engineering, cloud-native development, cloud operations, cloud security, data and AI, cloud optimization
• Understanding cloud technologies like IaaS, PaaS, containers/Kubernetes, AI/ML, migration/optimization/telemetry tools etc.

• Good understanding of industry-specific business issues and drivers

• Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams
• Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship
