Infosys is seeking an Airline Domain Consultant experienced in various airline business functions end-to-end. In this role, you will be working on functional software specifications, designing, testing and delivery. You will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in requirement analysis and management in the role of business analyst, product owner
• Comprehensive knowledge of one or more below given Airline business functions: Network Planning, Revenue Management, Crew Management, Cargo or Aircraft Maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly experienced and capable Aviation/Travel/Hospitality consulting subject matter experts
• Knowledge in -Passenger Services and Experience, Ground Operations, Corporate Strategy, Sales & Marketing
• Well versed in requirement elicitation, creation of use cases and user stories, business process documentation ("as-is" and "to-be" processes), process
visualization and creation of business solution.
• Strong analytical skills for building solution to the business problems and technical experience
• Should have knowledge of Business process workflows and responsibilities of roles involved in the business process flow
• Good to have couple of airline products/application knowledge supporting the business process
• Experience in Agile project environment is mandatory and any certification in Agile methodology (CSM/CSPO), Project/Program management (PMP/PgMP), CBAP are highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively with a multicultural team
• Ability to clearly communicate complex analytical issues to clients and to wider non-expert stakeholders• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Role Expectation:

• Work closely with the senior stake holders in the business as well as in different departments to understand and document the business objectives, scope and program expectations and to get sign-off
• Engage stakeholders to identify cross-functional features, and impacts to current processes, operations, and platforms
• As an analyst, translate business needs into requirements and then into actions, including process modeling, creation of other visual models, business rule capture, user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and capturing user acceptance criteria
• Map high level processes and elicit service requirements from the angle of: process simplification, improvement, automation, optimization and business performance
• Bundling of service backlog items into implementable initiatives at the Scrum and Sprint backlog level, supporting the product owners and Scrum teams in the understanding of initiatives/scrum feature contents
• Develop detailed service requirements, requirements scope, use cases, and user stories as needed, and work with Business Analysts at the Scrum level to ensure implementation of those
• Ensure that Customer Experience and Customer Care requirements are included in the Service Backlog and cascaded down to the releases
• Facilitating meetings involving cross-functional teams across the life cycle from strategy and planning to implementation
• Generate and maintain requirements traceability matrixes and the relationships to use cases
• Produce communications and documentation that is clear and organized

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
