Short Description:
This role is for AEM Consultant. You will interface with clients and get involved in design, development, maintenance and shall lead small teams of developers as applicable.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As AEM Consultant, undertake the design, development, and AEM DevOps maintenance lifecycle management.
Work closely with Project Managers and client's technical authority to ensure smooth delivery Design, Development & Delivery Working independently (within broad guidelines), deliver business partner requirements as per agreed schedules, costs, and quality targets by
- Requirements analysis, design, development and Operations.
- Interacting effectively with the business partners to refine and understand the requirements
- Implementing solutions utilising the team's software development and lifecycle processes.
- Initiative/module level tracking, reporting and management
Contribute to the assurance of the underlying performance and integrity of customers' services on production systems by:
- Following application development principles and patterns/models
- Providing responsive support and undertaking corrective action in areas of specialization.
- complying with change management principles and processes
Demonstrate expert experience in
- Understanding of content focused development
- AEM/CQ5 Content Management System experience
- Online technologies:
- HTML5, CSS 3, SASS, Web Accessibility, SEO, Adobe Analytics, JavaScript & single page application, React js, Node.js, bootstrap, TypeScript and RESTful client
- Tier 2 application development principles and patterns/models
- AEM technologies:
- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service platform
- AEM 6.x, AEMaCS
- JCR, OSGi Framework, Apache Sling Framework, AEM 6 Sightly
- Content fragments, Workflow, AEM Caching strategy
- AEM Environment architecture:
- author, publish, dispatcher, replicator agents - content states and behaviors,
- Develop integrations with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) and third-party systems using APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager, Jenkins, Git, or similar tools for automated deployments.
- Troubleshoot and debug AEM applications, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal user experience.
- Deployment and release management on AEM on-premise and as cloud service.
- Monitoring and performance optimization of applications hosted on AEM.
- Java and related technologies
- Java /J2EE, OO and design patterns, Data structure and algorithms, XML & json
- microservices, spring boot, apigee, RESTful
- Test automation technologies: JUnit, EasyMock, Mockito, selenium
- Maven, Elastic Search and New Relic
Essential:
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Years of experience: 12 +
- Extensive knowledge in developing web applications using AEM and other Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
- Migrating applications to AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Demonstrable familiarity in:
- Adobe Marketing Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign).
- Agile methodology, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, GIT, Bamboo and ansible scripts, Load test, JMeter
- Jetpack, coverity, sonarqube, sourceclear, Web accessibility
- Capability to work with people in different time zones
- ability to build strong & effective customer relationships
