About the Role 

iCapital’s Global Proposals Management team is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP)/Vice President (VP), Proposals Writer to contribute to the development of our growing team and global footprint. This this role will take charge of crafting compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), other client inquiries and will help centralize a content library and proposal process across all regions. This role will develop a team and build strong cross-functional relationships with Business Development, Legal, Compliance, Finance, InfoSec, Product, and other subject matter experts. This role requires excellent writing skills, ability to coordinate with teams globally, strong attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has extensive proposal experience in the financial services industry with an excellent understanding of and ability to apply proposal management best practices.

Responsibilities 

  • Create compelling responses for assigned proposals tailoring content to address client pain points and showcase the company's unique value proposition.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Assist with driving a scalable and repeatable RFP process across all regions including knowledge database management, message writing, data collection, content synthesis, timeline management, approvals process, and reporting. 
  • Build and manage oversight of the company’s responses to RFPs and proposals from start to submission and edit proposal responses for consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct RFP win/loss analysis, gather client feedback, and identify and report on areas to improve client targeting efforts and win rates.  
  • Build and contribute to a comprehensive content library to streamline future proposal efforts. 
  • Coordinate presentation materials from stakeholders and assist client calls.
  • Collaborate closely with team members in the US office to align proposal strategies, ensure consistency and drive successful outcomes across regions.

 

 Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of relevant professional experience required. 
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex RFP responses from inception to submission, resulting in wins and revenue growth.
  • Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Management and talent development experience preferred.
  • Fluency with RFP software, preferably Responsive/RFPio.
