- Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.
- Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
- Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding.
- Complex Storage Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex Storage tech deals.
Preferred Locations: New York, NY or New Jersey, NJ.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Business-Tech Alignment: Experience aligning business goals with tech solutions.
- Experience sizing and configuring DS8k and/or VTS.
- Mainframe Storage experience.
- Experience conducting performance analysis on DS8K.
- Stakeholder Consensus Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for achieving consensus among stakeholders.
- Experiential selling skills: ability to roll up your sleeves and help clients build proof of technologies or demos that definitively show a client's compelling reason to act.
- Mainframe Storage Disk Expertise: Our Financial Services Market clients run trillions of dollars worth of transactions through our solutions - this requires top notch attention to detail and deep product expertise.
- Teaming is winning: Our solutions are focused on a clients' needs, but many times have linkage back to development or product management; a Storage Technical Specialist must have the skills to quarterback and lead deep technical discussions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Complex mainframe solution architecting and implementation skills: Running the world's banks and insurance has its complexities, having experience navigating this is helpful.
- Sizing tool expertise: the right inputs provide for the best outputs in a solution. Previous experience using IBM StorM ensure accurate client solutions.
