We are seeking an experienced HP Storage Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Deploy, configure, and manage HPE storage solutions (3PAR, Alletra, Primera, Nimble, StoreOnce, MSA, XP). Manage HPE Command View, HP OneView, and HPE Info Sight for storage administration. Ensure data integrity and implement storage best practices. Manage HPE Command View, HP OneView, and HPE InfoSight for storage administration. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, storage provisioning experience, and a proactive approach to system monitoring and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management: Handle creation, configuration, and management of LUNs (Logical Unit Numbers) on storage arrays.
  • Storage Allocation: Allocate storage resources based on business requirements, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • File Shares Management: Administer and manage file shares, configure access control, and ensure seamless data access across departments.
  • NFS File Systems: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot NFS (Network File System) for file sharing across the network.
  • Storage Infrastructure Management: Maintain HP Storage systems and ensure proper configuration, capacity planning, and monitoring.
  • SAN Switch Management: Work with Cisco and Brocade SAN switches to configure and optimize storage area network (SAN) environments.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, LUNs, file shares, and SAN switches.
  • Data Availability & Security: Ensure high availability and security of data across storage systems, applying best practices for backup and disaster recovery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor storage performance and take corrective action as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and system changes.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Engineering in Computer or Electronics
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Storage Administration.
  • Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam, CommVault, Veritas, etc.) and replication technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, iSCSI, FC (Fibre Channel),Cisco/Brocade and multipathing Proficiency in storage provisioning, RAID configurations, zoning, and LUN masking.
