Introduction
IBM Watsonx Code Assistant is an exciting new offering from IBM that aims to revolutionize enterprise software development with Generative AI. We are seeking your expertise, motivation, and collaboration to take Watsonx Code Assistant to the next level.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Release Manager, you will play a key role in the success of watsonx Code Assistant projects by driving product deliveries in a timely manner.
You will work on the product release plan in collaboration with all stakeholders, identifying dependencies and key deliverables, and ensuring that deadlines are met and requirements are fulfilled.
You will drive meetings, collect and share updates on progress and status, and complete required release activities such as legal deliverables and security review.

You will need a good level of understanding of the product delivery environments, on cloud and on premises, and a high level understanding of the technical aspects of the products.
You will work across teams in close collaboration with other groups inside IBM.

• 10+ years of Software industry experience with experience in program management or project management or release management.
• Experience with implementing agile practices in the project/program management.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development tools like Jenkins and Travis.
• Excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and operations planning.
• Experience in project management for large scale software projects
• Ability to create and maintain project plans in collaboration with all stakeholders, to drive periodic meetings to meet the project plan and to present the report to senior leadership.
• Ability to identify risks in the early stages, bring them to attention and proactively work with internal or dependent teams to resolve the issues.
• Ability to represent the team/program status to senior management and to work with teams across worldwide locations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
