Your Role and Responsibilities
The Global Operational Support Systems (OSS) Platform Development organization is focused on the delivery and operation of shared cloud operational services and IT Service Management (ITSM) integration for use by IBM Cloud and non-Cloud service teams. The OSS Platform Development team is composed of highly skilled software developers who have passion for delivering value to IBM through increased operational efficiencies. OSS shared services are an integrated framework which span the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service operations practices of event and incident management, advanced operations such as event correlation and self-healing automation, Slackbot automation, SLA/SLO dashboarding and monitoring, as well as external notification publication. Beyond the integrated framework we are investigating the use of AI as an emerging tool to drive efficacies and speed of ITSM operations and are looking to make a difference, by improving the capabilities of IBM Cloud to respond to external and internal events.
