We are looking for experienced Product Managers to build various aspects of our product: from our core recommendation & data services to our analytics and intelligent insights; shared platform features such as data connectors, reporting and benchmarking.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior member of our Product Management team, you will own one of our product areas within the Apptio Product Suite. As a Product leader, you will be responsible for product strategy, prioritization, and execution. You will collaborate and effectively partner with Engineering, Product Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions to successfully build features, launch them, and drive adoption.

You will demonstrate strong analytical, and data driven decision making skills. You will exhibit strong ownership of the areas you own and operate autonomously with limited to no guidance. You will have a deep understanding and workings of technology-based SaaS products. You will have had prior experience managing and mentoring a team of Product Managers and Senior Product Managers.

  • Lead the balancing of feature aspirations with market needs, customer demands, and technical reality.
  • Understand trends and patterns to inform product roadmap and strategy
  • Work with our designers to create simple, elegant solutions to solve complex customer problems.
  • Collaborate and work with our development teams in an Agile manner to continuously deliver value to our customers
  • Own documentation, effectively communicate and manage expectations about the product features, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Lead and participate in technical deep dive sessions with customers and users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mentor and guide a team of Product Managers and Senior Product Managers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA/MS degree preferred
  • At least 10 years in the Product Management function, with some of that experience in managing customer facing SaaS products.
  • Self-starter, strong leadership qualities, operates autonomously, leveraging data and logic to make decisions
  • Ability to solve complex design problems with clarity via simple, elegant solutions.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
  • Deep understanding of design strategies and product development processes & tools

  • Experience with Cloud technologies and B2B enterprise software products is preferred.
