The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Procurement processes, including purchasing, procurement, inventory management, invoice processing, and payments
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP Procurement processes for our S/4 transformation project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP Procurement solutions.
- Configure SAP Procurement modules, including MM, IM,
- Understand integration points with modules such as OTC, FI & EWM to meet business needs.
- Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements to SAP Procurement processes.
- Conduct testing and training for SAP Procurement processes and solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Procurement solutions.
Must be located in Halifax or willing to relocate to Halifax.

Required technical and professional expertise
• Work closely with business functions to understand and define system requirements, recommend SAP S/4 HANA solutions to meet business needs.
• Analyze the business impact and highlight the key product/integration deficiency to the product owners.
• Actively coordinate routine/monthly/quarterly regression testing for change deployments.
• Work with project management to document and communicate risks and issues, and then recommend solutions.
• Mapping out visual workflow diagrams on current and future state processes.
• Perform Unit, Integration & Regression E2E Testing.
• Provide training and support to clients to ensure successful adoption of the solutions.
• Experience in Agile development methodology/tools.
• Implementation Project experience in requirement gathering, explore, design, build, test, deploy and support phases.
• Procure to Pay (Master data, Direct procurement, Invoice Management, Workflows and Invoicing
• Understand client business requirements and design SAP S/4 HANA Procure to Pay solutions to meet those needs.
• Configure and customize the standard templates to meet the client requirements. Template design as Global Deployment, Rollouts, Process optimization and improvements.
• Extensive experience in Master data objects such as Material Mater, Service Master, Business Partner Supplier and Customer Master design and definition.
• Hands on experience in S/4 HANA Flexible workflow configuration for Purchase Requisition, Outline Agreement and Purchase Order as well as Invoice approval.
• Experience in WRICEF design and development and testing across systems.
• Collaborate with other teams such as ARIBA, Third Paty systems and integration teams to understand the business requirement and ensure system functionality.
• Hands on new S/4 HANA Configuration set up including special scenarios as Retention, Sub-Contracting, Consignment, Third party dropship, Intercompany STO
• Well versed with Invoicing plan, Service entry sheet, Invoice Management including OCR integration, and invoice approvals
