Your role and responsibilities
As an IBM Go to Market Product Manager, the successful candidate in this role will be the internal face of the product: to sales, to support, and to customers. They will lead the creation of promotional content, sales and partner training materials, customer win and success stories, and assist stakeholders throughout the business in bringing our products to a successful launch through customer adoption.

Go to Market Product Managers maximize internal and external relationships interfacing with design, product marketing, ecosystem partners, analysts, engineering, sales, and services teams to launch a successful product to market with defined routes to market. They are experts in the field and are recognized as a credible voice in the market.
We look for emerging leaders who are entrepreneurial, adaptable, analytical, creative problem solvers, persuasive, empathetic and tenacious. We also look for those who have been exposed to, and are well versed in, Cloud and AI technology concepts.
When considering applicants for this role, we look for education and background in a combination of areas such as business / data analytics, marketing, sales enablement, entrepreneurship, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, market / user research, product management, product development, and technology commercialization.
As the voice of the business and users, GTM Product Managers:
- Introduce new capabilities to the market with the right assets, programs and incentives to drive adoption
- Launch incentives and promos across various routes to maximize adoption and revenue
- Align with various sales routes and activities driven through that route to support revenue growth
- Interlock with marketing and partner teams to ensure we are creating the right assets and programs to align with the overall strategy for Cloud IaaS offerings/solutions
- Create and implement sales enablement strategy to increase awareness of capabilities - aligned to the release schedule
- Act as first responders to field queries
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- At least 3 years of experience, (academic and internships may be included) in product management, product development, technical acumen, entrepreneurship, design thinking, market research, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, business analytics, or other related work.
- Exposed to and well versed in technology concepts.
- Aptitude and experience relevant to product management.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- 1 or more year of job-related experience in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, product management, marketing, product development, technical acumen, entrepreneurship, design thinking, market research, business analytics, or other related work.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
