Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive Discovery & Insight: Understand the customer's needs, challenges, and aspirations to uncover the true business outcomes they desire.
  • Advise & Influence: Be the trusted advisor who helps customers leverage the Apptio suite to solve complex business challenges, optimize cloud spend, and align technology with business goals.
  • Present & Demonstrate Value: Deliver compelling, solution-focused presentations and demos that demonstrate how Apptio's Cloud Cost Management and FinOps solutions solve real-world challenges.
  • Lead Technical Validation: Ensure successful outcomes by managing technical validation processes and showing prospects exactly how Apptio can transform their IT operations.
  • Architect Solutions: Be responsible for designing and leading technical solutions that win business, driving Apptio's market leadership in Cloudability.
  • Collaborate & Coach: Work with internal teams, customers, and partners to foster a consultative approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Share knowledge and best practices to elevate everyone around you.
  • Educate & Evangelize: Promote Apptio's technology, thought leadership, and industry trends through conferences, webinars, and events.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience & Expertise: You bring at least 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer in enterprise tech, with deep expertise in Cloud Cost Management, FinOps, or similar fields.
  • FinOps & Cloud Savvy: A certified FinOps Practitioner and ideally a Cloud Solution Architect (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), you're well-versed in tools that manage cloud spend and have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, and analytics tools.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and one of Dutch, Danish, Swedish, German, French, or Italian. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong familiarity with cloud-native tools, APIs, Python, and analytics solutions used to drive data-driven insights and optimization strategies.
  • Passion for Learning: You have a curiosity for emerging technologies and trends, with a strong desire to grow your expertise in Cloud Cost Management and FinOps.
