Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Individual highly interested in developing an innovative, future-oriented solution that automates and simplifies the installation, configuration and testing of Linux on Z systems.
Your main duties will include developing and integrating different products in the existing Cloud Infrastructure product that requires the ability to understand and work with various APIs, middleware and custom code to bridge the gap between different systems, ensuring the software meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging. You will also work closely with the customers to ensure the software meets their needs.

What you will do (Roles & Responsibilities) :
- As an Integration engineer you will implement solutions and coordinate their integration between different components to make sure the functionalities are meeting the expectations.
- You will also assess existing infrastructure and its components to determine what requirements exist and how to implement them. In addition, you are required to reuse existing solutions where ever possible and also perform troubleshooting, making sure for efficient data exchange and process automation across various platforms.
- Your expertise lies in bridging the gap between various IT systems, facilitating communication and data exchange, ensuring that integrated solution meet business requirements and standards.
- You will be required to Collaborate with stakeholders to refine integration requirements, Determining the outcome of the integration has met the organisation's need.
- You will also be responsible for Defining integration strategies and methods, planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules there by Educating the team and customers about the system and hardware integration procedure, its implementation and use.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of working experience as an Application Integration Engineer.
- Strong skills in Unix/Linux with Proven knowledge of S/W development process & tools for product development/debugging using Python language, Shell scripting and Rest API
- Hands on Experience in Designing and developing integration solutions to connect to existing product.
- Experience in Monitoring and troubleshooting integration issues.
- Good Understanding of Optimising existing integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Experience on Documenting integration processes and writing user guides.
- Capability to have Deep understanding of both hardware and software.
- Strong skills in Ensuring data integrity and security, during the data transfer process between systems.
- Experience in Configuring and maintaining middleware and other integration tools
- Working Experience on Creating and managing APIs for system interaction and data exchange
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Good SOA architecture understanding. Hands-on experience in designing and developing inbound and outbound integration interfaces with API Web services (REST and SOAP service development skills)
- Knowledge and experience of XML related technologies (XML, XSD, XPATH, XSLT)
- Knowledge and experience with Software Version Control systems: GIT, SVN etc.
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes and tools
- Knowledge and hand-on usage of code and defect management tools.
- Strong English written/verbal communication skills to report status crisply and accurately.
