Your Role and Responsibilities

This position is for an infrastructure leader or leader candidate who will be responsible for the proposal and implementation of our electronic medical record system (CIS) for large hospital clients in Japan.

The candidate will be expected to work on proposal activities after gaining experience as a leader.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage development and implementation projects for the construction of hospital information systems, with a focus on electronic medical record system (CIS) implementation projects.

Based on knowledge and experience in hospital operations and the medical information industry, will communicate with the client on the implementation of the system through study groups, etc., and propose optimal solutions, including customizations, to the client's issues.

Will work with a number of subcontractors and OEM vendors in the project and will issue appropriate guides and instructions to facilitate the project and work together toward the project goal.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience as a PM/PL in hospital industry implementation projects from a SIer, software development company, infrastructure-related company, etc.
• Experience as a leader of infrastructure implementation by uniting many OEM vendors.
• Basic product knowledge of IA Server and DB middleware (AIX, PowerHA, Db2, WAS)
• Experience implementing system monitoring/operation batches is a plus.
• Advanced business level Japanese (read/write/speak) essential to perform duties

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience prime and large-scale projects and project teams in Japan, overseeing local project team(s)
• Experience in leading projects in large scale system construction/development projects.
• Able to lead infrastructure environment to run electronic medical record system and departmental vendor system with partner companies based on knowledge of servers (AIX, windows, etc.), WAS, MQ, etc. (Unix, VMware, Posgre SQL, Weblogic, etc. other solutions are acceptable). (Unix, VMware, Posgre SQL, Weblogic, and other third-party solutions are also acceptable).
• Knowledge of AWS, IBM Cloud, and XenApp and XenDesktop as operating environments is also welcome, as the number of cases in which electronic medical record systems are operated in cloud environments is expected to increase.
