Your Role and Responsibilities
For this scheme, the roles are onsite, based at our Hursley Labs Campus near Winchester, Hampshire.
Our Software Developer Graduate Scheme covers multiple vacancies.We're looking for people with a passion for technology and a desire to develop their skill set. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to become involved in the complete software product lifecycle, including research and design, coding, and testing, through to ongoing support.

During your time on the scheme, you will be supported by an Early Professional Development Manager (EPDM) to help you manage your career, your EPDM works alongside your Line Manager, mentors, and your fellow team members to help you get the most out of the Graduate Scheme.
As well as the above, you will also have access to a vast number of educational resources and can complete qualifications which help support your chosen career path. You will be encouraged to join various projects outside of your day job such as hackathons, open source, and giving back to the community, to help contribute to your growth and development.
No matter what your degree background is, we are looking for someone with a demonstrated passion for technology, and the aptitude and desire to develop their skills and career, surrounded by master inventors & innovators.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- You will have obtained, or be on track for a minimum 2:1 or above in your degree
- Knowledge and experience of at least one of the following languages: Java, Javascript or Golang
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile Practices
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to collaborate well in a team environment
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Knowledge and experience of Cloud Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience with CI/CD delivery pipelines and using Git
