Your Role and Responsibilities

As Client Compensation Professional you will provide support to our Business Lines in the CEE countries.
You will work closely with CEE Compensation Partner to support implementation of IBM cycle-based programs like GDP and ESP as well as provide guidance and assistance related to off-cycle programs (incl., qualification/ upskilling) and any local comp-related policies.

Additional responsibilities include the following activities, under the guidance and supervision of CEE Compensation Partner:
• Provide direction and guidance to CEE Mgmt. and HR Professionals to achieve compensation program goals and objectives.
• Support communication, implementation, and coordination of compensation solutions & activities across the region (processes, programs, policies, etc.), as needed.
• Work with Compensation Market Intelligence team on salary ranges review and update activities for CEE countries as well as to understand comp & ben surveys in which IBM participates throughout the year and be able to interpret and work with market insights.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Good knowledge of compensation elements provided to employees in a competitive market within the IT-industry.
  • English language at professional working level.
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/Power Point).
  • Analytical skills are essential - the ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and explain compensation data findings and trends.
  • Willingness to work with systems & tools (incl. reporting activities) and learn constantly.
  • Growth mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Very good communications skills and attention to details.
  • Collaboration and close connection with CEE stakeholders - interactions with HR functions in CEE, local managers, as needed.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Basic understanding of the compensation practices and legislation in CEE region.
  • Prior experience in understanding and working in/supporting CEE region.
  • Prior experience in working with advanced data tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Cognos HR, Compensation Dashboards, and similar tools.
  • Ability to detect and highlight trends, compile various sources of information.
