Introduction
IBM Consulting is a leading provider of technology-led transformation solutions powered by hybrid cloud and AI. The Client Growth Leader is responsible for driving sales of IBM Consulting solutions that capitalize on our distinctive and differentiated assets, offerings, and solutions across our hybrid cloud, business transformation, and cybersecurity growth platforms. This role requires proven consulting and services experience in at least one Growth Platform, a track record of strong consulting delivery experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Your role and responsibilities
1. The role requires generating new business opportunities and acquiring new clients across new logos or new lines of business within existing clients.

2. A proactive sales approach is expected, involving relationship building and opportunity identification that align with the company's strategic offerings.
3. The individual is tasked with developing and executing sales plans to meet revenue targets and market share objectives.
4. Coordination of deal pursuits within the market includes proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation.
5. Management of a pursuit team may be necessary to advance deals through the sales process.
6. Cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders is emphasized.
7. Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor landscape is crucial for informing the sales strategy.
8. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (solutioning, quality, delivery) is essential to ensure client needs are met.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building and maintaining strong client relationships.

4. Experience with strategic partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, SAP, Salesforce, etc., is preferred.

1. Previous experience within the Consulting organization or a comparable global consulting firm is advantageous.
2. Familiarity with IBM Consulting services offerings and industry trends is beneficial.
3. Experience with dealing is also preferred.
