Advisory Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Design and implement core backend API Connect software components. Drive requirements for security features and functionalities throughout lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, support, and maintenance. Drive development integration across cross-disciplinary teams. Plan projects. Review design and code. Analyze and improve product efficiency, scalability, and stability. Debug issues. Fix bugs. Improve user experience. Utilize programming languages, data structures and algorithms, database technologies, security standards and protocols, web technologies, software tools, and programming methodologies. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing programming languages, data structures and algorithms, database technologies, security standards and protocols, web technologies, software tools, and programming methodologies. $169,229 to $194,900 per year. Full time. H12E.
