Senior Marketing Manager, Usage Automation

POS-27523

The Customer Marketing Team is looking for a customer-centric marketer to build and scale the customer experience through marketing automation. In this role, you'll use automation (powered by AI and data science) to empower our customers with the insights and resources they need to maximize the value they get from HubSpot. You'll experiment, build, personalize, and scale our global automation programs.

HubSpot is growing quickly, but today we rely too heavily on humans to help customers understand what to do next and how to use HubSpot to succeed. Your work will help make it easy for customers to know how well they're using HubSpot today and what they should do next to achieve their goals.

Driving customer success and product usage is a top priority for HubSpot. We're on the hunt for an all-star marketer to help us bring this ambition to life.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Own every element of your program from top to bottom -- from strategy to defining metrics, and execution to reporting -- and be an internal thought leader on what your audiences need to be successful.
  • Design, write and build emails and other communications, including the positioning, segmentation and basic operations.
  • Push our communications to the next level using data-driven decision-making and creativity. That could mean expanding into new channels (e.g. in-app, push notifications), focusing on new cohorts for personalization (e.g. HubSpot account admins) or introducing a brand new strategy.
  • Experiment to optimize and iterate on your work, improving the value customers get from HubSpot at every step of their journey.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to expand your program and create a consistent customer experience across channels. You'll align across almost every team and level of the organization, especially other Marketing teams, Customer Success, Ops, and Product.

We're looking for people who:
  • Have a strong passion for customer experience. You find yourself being the voice of the customer in cross-departmental projects.
  • Are excited by solving tough problems no one else has solved.
  • Are self-starters, capable of driving projects forward independently.
  • Love working on high-impact, cross-departmental initiatives that require expert project and stakeholder management
  • Are deeply analytical, with the ability to interpret reporting and translate it into strategy and action.
  • Have an experimental mindset, with experience running marketing campaigns from conception to execution and reporting.
  • Have the ability to be hands on, with a comfort in driving both strategy and day-to-day execution.
