About The Role

The Howard Hughes Corp. is seeking a Sr. Treasury Analyst to support our Corporate Treasury team. This role reports directly to the Director - Treasury and is responsible for the recording and reporting of Treasury's cash transactions to the Accounting Department for general ledger input. Additionally, the Sr. Treasury Analyst will troubleshoot FTP processes and require a strong understanding of the technology used in Treasury.

What You Will Do
  • Perform daily Kyriba cash reconciliation.
  • Post cash general ledger entries accurately and timely.
  • Act as the primary administrator for the Kyriba platform.
  • Prepare and accurately enter electronic payments on various bank platforms as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve any FTP-related issues, including GL recording, BAI statements, and payment processing.
  • Review monthly bank analysis statements for errors and cost savings opportunities.
  • Work closely with Debt Accounting and Capital Markets teams to process all debt-related payments.
  • Open and close bank accounts as required.
  • Respond to inquiries related to bank transactions received via the shared department email inbox.
  • Manage and document all Treasury department processes.
  • Oversee online user management on various bank platforms.
  • Support the ongoing corporate cash management function, including projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting, banking, or treasury experience required.
  • Proficiency in a treasury workstation is required. Kyriba is strongly preferred.
  • High technical aptitude and a strong understanding of technology used in Treasury.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other related products.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to multi-task and be self-directed.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Must be deadline-focused, organized, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong technical writing abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with competing priorities.
