Technical Project Manager operations - engineering area

The Technical Project Manager in the operations team is responsible for planning and coordinating the resources to deploy major system releases and maintenance releases within the predicted cost, time and quality estimates.

Your responsibilities:

  • Driving the development of the release process.
  • Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.
  • Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities.
  • Make sure the allocation of resources to every release.
  • Communicate with stakeholders from IS/IT , business and development projects.
  • Lead the Go-Live activities for successful deployment of releases.
  • Schedule meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
  • Manage planning and resolve challenges and changes in detail planning.
  • Prepare technical project presentations.

Your background"

  • Proven experience in IS/IT/PLM operations/ support or similar.
  • Experience in project management and collaborating with broad cross-functional teams and work closely with business.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well
    as interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in project management practices and adaptability
    to company specific processes.
  • Good knowledge in Teamcenter architecture, IT infrastructure
    and servers.
  • Goal oriented, a good leader as well as technical- and business minded.
  • Proven experience from large multinational engineering/industry organization
  • Knowledge of ITIL Best practices.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people
    from all over the world.
