The opportunity
As SCM Manager for Hitachi Energy, you are accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization which includes Direct & Indirect operations.
Your responsibilities typically include, setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. You will ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager of the Factory and be part of Factory Management Team and will also be responsible for coordination with global SCM function.

How you'll make an impact
- Developing the local team
- Harmonizing the processes of strategic and operational purchasing
- Defining and implementing procurement strategy with corresponding metrics
- Driving continuous optimization of sourcing processes and keep master data and SCM parameters maintained and updated
- Establishing and maintaining local and international suppliers
- Optimization of operational procurement processes and further development of systems
- Conducting purchasing negotiations and concluding framework agreements
- Drive Continuous Improvement within SCM area
Your background
- You hold experience as Team lead or manager
- Bachelors of degree
- You hold experience from category management or similar
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Fluency in English and other languages are advantageous
- Exceptional writing and editing as well as oral communication skills in Swedish is a plus
