Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a SCM Manager.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
For the first +/-6 months, the SCM will be responsible for establishing & setting up the end-to-end supply chain, both physically & digitally, which will require extremely in-depth & hands-on personal ownership of these early activities.
The SCM will then build & hire their team of direct reports (purchasing, planning, inventory control, logistics, etc); and will be responsible for organizing, executing, and managing the ongoing end-to-end supply chain activities for the plant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Own the creation & implementation of end-to-end supply chain processes for a brand-new manufacturing facility

2. Ensure accurate & comprehensive setup of ERP system (SAP) for supply chain processes - including material masters, vendor masters, procurement & planning parameters, production/order/shipping releases, logistics documentation, etc.
3. Define the supply base by establishing strong relationships with external & interunit supply partners, as well as establishing optimal network of logistics providers
4. Hire, train, and manage team of direct reports to support ongoing plant supply chain activities
5. Create and deploy LSW (leader standard work) and SOP's (standard operating procedures) for full scope of SCM plant roles & processes, in alignment w/ Eaton's corporate SCM policies
6. Manage ongoing end-to-end supply chain processes (procurement, planning, logistics, shipping/receiving, & inventory management)
7. Meet or exceed critical plant operations & supply chain metrics such as DOH (inventory days on hand), premium freight, E&O (excess & obsolete inventory), customer OTD, supplier OTD, cost out, and quality
8. Support SCM organizational capability through focused coaching, ongoing feedback, training and development of plant supply chain team

Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum experience of 7 years in supply chain, operations, or logistics; including prior managerial/supervisory experience
3. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
4. PC knowledge, Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
5. Knowledgeable about functionality of, and experience with, ERP Systems (SAP preferred)
6. General knowledge of Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and Quality standards.
7. APICS Certification, preferred.
8. Knowledge of Inventory Control and D.R. Custom Laws.

- The SCM will report directly to the Santiago Plant Manager, and functionally to the Bussmann Supply Chain Director.
- This Supply Chain Manager position is one of the first critical roles to support a new plant startup (Greenfield, new construction) in Santiago, DR for the Bussmann Division of PCS (Protection, Control & Solutions) group within Electrical Sector Americas.
