The Power Electronics team has being established in Krakow in 2021, as part of this team, you will be working in a small, cross-functional team of highly skilled engineers consisting of Power Electronics, Control Engineers, HW Electronics and Mechanical Engineers. You will develop a new breakthrough modular converter platform based on wide bandgap semiconductors (e.g. SiC) for a range of grid and DC applications. You are expected to push the technology boundaries in terms of efficiency, size and operational performance. If you are ready for the challenge, then join us.

Wojtysiak Technology Manager GI T&SD Krakow. Supported also by Adam Ruszczyk Senior Principal R&D Engineer you will cooperate with global R&D teams, in case of technical questions you will get direct support from

Simon Round Corporate Executive Engineer - Power Electronics & Digital. A creative environment allows you to utilize your knowledge and skills in technology and product development to identify and implement innovative solutions for a new Product Platform.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for building blockchain reliability model and maintaining it as the design evolves
  • Work closely with component engineers and system engineers to ensure design for reliability is always considered
  • Plan, design, and execute (with component and system engineer support) any demonstrated reliability or ALT/HALT tests at the component, board, or system level
  • Identify and address potential issues that could affect product reliability, durability and quality
  • Define and document reliability goals and specifications for the product
  • Identify potential failure modes and assess their impact on product reliability
  • Develop and implement reliability tests methods and procedures
  • Analyze test data to identify trends, patterns and failure modes
  • Supporting R&D teams to assure designs are done according to requirements
  • Develop and support methods for FMEA use (DFMEA, PFMEA), MTTF (MTBF)
  • Perform design reviews to ensure that reliability considerations are integrated in the design

Your background

  • Academic degree in Electronics or proven experience within reliability engineering and quality. Experience in power electronics design and reliability is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability Engineering methods & approaches
  • Communication skills, and ability to build trust on all levels of the organization
  • Skills in common reliability engineering software or calculations
  • Knowledge of FMEA (DFMEA, PFMEA)
  • MTTF, MTBF knowledge is an advantage
  • HALT and HASS testing experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity within quality improvement processes and compliance is an advantage
