The opportunity

As a Project Engineer (f/m/d) Building management and Automation you will deliver the topology and design of the building management system which is the interface of all other auxiliary systems in a HVDC station. Our team culture is flexible and cooperative with highest regards for safety and occupational health. How you'll make an impact

  • Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements
  • Preparation of technical specification documents, conceptual design, development design
  • Producing, reviewing and coordinating technical information required with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customer
  • Review of technical documents and drawings from vendors and sub supplier
  • Validate design confirmation to applicable regulations and technical specification
  • Technical evaluation of price bids for procurement
  • Producing, reviewing and coordinating technical subject matter documentation
  • Consulting & advising project/ site team on the best practices & solutions in accordance with standard processes, regulation, procedures and safety guidelines
  • Technically coordinate with Civil, MEP and Automation department and with the Project/Tender Team efficiently
  • Identify the risk and opportunities effectively
  • Supporting the Project engineer and Project manager in issuing claims related to changes in project scope, including assessing cost and time impacts as well as risk quantifications

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree within the relevant technical are, preferably Electrical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience from the electric power industry or similar industry - for example HVDC or power plant technology is also seen as an advantage in the role
  • An independent and communicative person who is motivated to take on a new challenge
  • You have great communication skills and can easily seek and find the needed information. As a person you are an independent person who naturally builds relations with both internal and external partners
  • As you will be a part of a global business, fluency in English is required, written and spoken alike. Knowing French language is meritorious
  • Good knowledge of international regulations and standards
  • Strong technical expertise in building automation
  • Strong knowledge of end products in Automation industry
