How you'll make an impact
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a procurement team focused on direct materials purchasing
- Ensure timely and cost-effective materials delivery
- Supervise and mentor procurement specialists, act as a role model
- Manage HR related activities (employee lifecycle)
- Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Oversee procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enable productivity gains
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve process roadblocks.
- Ensure high quality delivery and reporting of KPI's
- Be a part of local CSS SCM Leadership Team
Your background
- Higher education in relevant field
- Several years of experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement
- Previous people managing experience
- Knowledge about L6S tools, Yellow / Green Belt certification is preferable
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions from procurement data and enable informed decision making
- Knowledge of SAP & MS Office
- Ability to lead and motivate team members fostering positive and productive work environment
