We are looking for an Operations Manager within Power Quality Solutions team that will be responsible to delivering upon our commitments to our customer and partners. In this role you will be responsible for the Power Quality project portfolio, project planning & controls and field operations and leadership over 5 direct reporting mangers. Together, with the Operations team, you are responsible to ensure the consistency in executional excellence when it comes to financials, quality, on time delivery and health & safety.

In this role, you will report to the manger for Power Quality Solutions and functionally be part of the BUs team for Operations Managers.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • You will be responsible for the project execution and own the performance management in the Power Quality projects in close partnership and collaboration with our Hitachi Energy local counterparts and customers.
  • You will ensure in the portfolio of projects is managed consistently, based on best practices and company policies.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with key customers as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • You will support to and drive the BU's strategy globally within the Power Quality community
  • You will coordinate the development and initiate implementation of the standards, practices, procedures, tools and digitalization initiatives with our Global Operations team and other functions within Power Quality. You will initiate and support the implementation, of said initiatives, in the Power Quality team, to achieve operational excellence, cater operational scale-up and financial stability along our growth journey.

Your background:

  • You are driven, result oriented and have a strong interest in leadership and developing your team, as well as developing relations and cooperation with other stakeholders.
  • You are a strong communicator with ability to communicate beyond you own organizational responsibilities
  • You enjoy leading, motivating and developing people, and are used to building strong relationships.
  • To successfully take on this position, you have experience in the utility and/or industrial infrastructure project business, managing large and complex projects, both contractual, financial as well as technical.
  • You hold bachelor's or master's degree in engineering and has 10-15 years of experience in a project business., although experience from a similar role and your personal qualities are more important than an academic degree.
