You will join as an integral member of the Hardware & IT/OT management team within HVDC Control & Protection at a time when the demand for our solutions is booming and we are expanding to help our clients reach their environmental targets.
Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring a Team Manager HVDC Control & Protection IT/OT, based in Ludvika, Sweden.
Together with your two peer team managers you will be responsible for the IT/OT delivery in projects. Each Team manager is responsible for certain process areas; the process area for this role is tender and conceptual design phase as well as the Configuration and Setup of systems in the Factory system test environment. You will be building, developing, and leading a team of approximately 20 persons and will report to the Global Manager HVDC Control & Protection Hardware & IT/OT Products.

Your responsibilities
- Overall team manager responsibility for Tender and conceptual design phase as well as the Configuration and Setup of systems in the Factory system test environment.
- Hiring and onboarding new team-members, making sure the office is adequately staffed and trained to meet business demands and targeted headcount.
- Implementing and driving competency development plans and mentorship pairing of team-members and following-up to ensure growth.
- Accountable for building and maintaining a team culture of collaboration, accountability, trust, and transparency.
Your background
- You hold a university degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in HVDC, AC substation design or Power Systems, large industrial or infrastructure projects and knowledge of industrial real-time control systems are qualifying.
- You have a strong interest, and preferably experience, in management techniques, developing teams and individuals to unlock their potential.
- As a person you have a passion for people and technology, you are strong in decision making and have the inner drive and self-management skills to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
- You are communicative, engaged and can handle the busy digital landscape of today, comfortable utilizing Teams and O365 suit to efficiently communicate with your team and beyond.
- You thrive in a constantly changing environment and enjoy collaboration with employees, peers and all other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is required since you will be part of an international setting, communicating with people from all over the world.
- Swedish language skills would be advantageous.
