In your work you will be part of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) business unit that is a part of Hitachi Energy's division and located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. Hitachi Energy's developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

• Lead and develop a new department that will be created under Main System Design.
• Contribute to HVDC Main System Design Management team and collaborate with other managers in the organization.
• Develop people, new and existing processes, and tools within your team.
• Lead the team that will support transformation and back-bone activities.
• Identify new ways of working to increase the efficiency in the organization.

• To be suitable for this management role, it is preferred that you have previous experience as a Line Manager. Knowledge of system design is highly desirable.
• We are looking for self-motivated and reliable team player with an independent and result oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills.
• You need to be thorough and structured with a high technical interest and strive for good solutions within the set time limits.
• You are interested in people and are prepared to support and enthuse your coworkers.

• Fluency in English is required.
