Mission statement:

Act as business partner to the Large Project Organization (LPO) Manager , alignment with HBU M&S team to identify opportunities and plan resources accordingly. Ensures that tender calculation is done correctly. Participates or provides input to negotiations on Contractual terms and conditions (Clients, consortia, subcontractors, suppliers). Participates and provides input in Risk Review process. Provides guidance and leadership to Tender & Project Controllers allocated to Large Projects.

Promotes commercial awareness and ensure proper involvement in Tendering. Validating, Contractual set up, T&C's, tax impacts and FCM

Ensure coordination, alignment and communication with other functions: LPO Controlling & Risk Manager and HBU Tendering Manager

Ensure timely and experienced resources are allocated to Large Projects

Coordinates with HBU T&P Controller Manager development plans for Junior Controllers , In Charge of FCA programs

Your responsibilities:

  • You will ensure that all directives and instructions from HBL/GPG/BL/Company with respect to tender and project controlling activities are uniformly implemented and followed
  • You will act the financial director to enhance tender control, project control, processes, risk management, and accountability and to provide decision-makers with comprehensive and consolidated information to all stakeholders.
  • You will attend required risk reviews meetings scheduled with the tendering team and project reviews meetings scheduled with the project team.
  • You will check that the risk review tool is properly updated/uploaded by the responsible person in a timely and diligent manner related to commercial aspects prior to the Risk Review meeting and after with the Minutes of Meeting/actions agreed.
  • You will support the LPO manager to establish and promote all standardized tender/project management practices, methodologies, and processes to be consistency in project execution, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced rework, and enhanced project success rates.
  • You will attend all LPO project/portfolio reviews/strategic which are conducted by LPO manager to align strategic objective/drive performance/executive support sales and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • You will support LPO to track project financial progress, identify performance gaps, and identify performance risk and opportunity. It enables data-driven decision-making, promotes project success and helps maximize the financial benefits of the HBL's project portfolio.
  • You will facilitate knowledge management by capturing and disseminating project-related information, lessons learned, and best practices. Ensure follow-up on the identified lessons learned during execution and implement lessons learnt in the future tenders

Your background:

  • You have multiple years of working experience within in one of the following functions: Risk Management / Tender Controlling / Project Controlling / Controlling.
  • You are experienced in project business in an international company.
  • Experience in working in the industry of electrical or power, EPC, construction, or industry that has high value, long duration and complex projects
  • You are skilled in communicating and you have experience working with a global and diverse team from a leadership point of view.
  • You have high level of organization skills with attention to details and strong process orientation.
  • You have experience in dealing with customers/stakeholders as well as you are fluent in English (oral and written), other languages are considered meriting.
  • It is meriting if you hold a Master's Degree in relevant field.
  • Leadership skill to manage different cultures and cross function leads.
  • Good command in English verbally and written.
