As a Global Category Manager, you will drive the strategic management and optimization of a insulation raw material and IKCs on a global scale. You will be responsible for developing robust category strategies, enhancing supplier
partnership, manage overall supply base performance, leading global supplier negotiations, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role is key to achieving cost savings,
enhancing product quality, managing sustainability initiatives, and fostering innovation across the organization.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement impactful category strategies that enhance cost efficiency, quality, and environmental responsibility.
- Analyze market trends and opportunities to position our category for success in the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
- Oversee the supplier lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management, ensuring a robust and reliable supply base.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms for cost, quality, and service excellence.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring security and resilience in our operations.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within our supply chain, exploring innovative green sourcing opportunities.
- Inspire and mentor regional category managers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Your background
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering.
- 10+ years of work experience in category management, strategic sourcing or a related role within supply chain
- management.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and category strategy implementation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify market trends, and translate
- insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with suppliers and cross function teams
- effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally as necessary to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.
