Mission statement:
As a Fiduciary Specialist, identifies / manages the demand for local finance fiduciary duties, ensuring relevant duties are matched with activities in the Finance CSS front office and Hub. Responsible for compiling local statutory IFRS books, and other external regulatory requirements.
You will be a vital member of the finance team within the Common Shared Service Finance Front Office, in South Korea. Reporting to the CSS Front Office Finance Manager, you will provide key support to the business/ Country Finance Manager, applying relevant accounting techniques and statutory standards to identify and resolve issues.
Your responsibilities:
- You will ensure an up to date understanding of local finance fiduciary duties and maintain a register of local finance fiduciary duties.
- You will maintain a mapping of local finance fiduciary duties into the function delivery organization clearly showing responsibilities for delivering the demand.
- You will organize delivery of local finance fiduciary demand in and outside CSS Finance and work closely with the Finance CSS Front office manager and general accounting specialist in defining and securing the delivery of the local finance fiduciary duties.
- You will be the point of contact for the Country Finance Manager at status related to local finance fiduciary duties.
- You will execute/ support to the business in local treasury management area, connect with regional team to mitigate any asset/capital risk disposure in a faithful manner.
- You will prepare local GAAP reporting (in close cooperation with CSS Finance general accounting).
- You will be responsible for compiling local statutory IFRS /Tax reporting within the timeline required by the company / local laws.
- You will support or act as local contact person for external auditors in Accounting and Tax field.

Your background:
- You hold bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role/ local statutory reporting/filing.
- Work experience with a tier 1 or tier 2 audit firm beneficial.
- Robust knowledge in external local statutory Accounting/Tax rules and principles.
- Computerized skills- SAP ERP and proficiency in Excel.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Resilience - strong ability to work with ambiguity and constantly changing set of circumstances and resolve issues under pressure.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate prioritizing and plan activities.
- Role is required to work with many stakeholders, must be a team player
- Strong written and verbal Korean/English communication skills.
