As a Digital Factory Implementation Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will lead the transformation of our global operations through the "Digital Factory" concept. This initiative aims to harmonize IT tools across our factories worldwide, transitioning from various software tools to a streamlined approach focusing on three main systems: SAP, HVPLM (High-Voltage Product Lifecycle Management), and DPS (Digital Passport System). The role also involves integrating machines and equipment with our MES system to capture live operational and quality data, reducing complexity and maintenance costs.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Digital Factory concept in our factories globally
- Analyze and interpret the needs of local units, translating them into actionable requirements for system developers
- Guide and support local project leaders in implementing Digital Factory solutions, ensuring alignment with global best practices, rules, and guidelines
- Assist local units in transitioning from custom solutions to standardized solutions using SAP, HVPLM, and DPS
- Develop and continuously refine the global approach for Digital Factory implementations
- Manage up to three Digital Factory implementation projects simultaneously

Your background
- Proficiency in SAP, HVPLM, and DPS systems, or the ability to quickly learn these systems
- Strong understanding of production processes; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, Yellow Belt mandatory
- Excellent project management skills, including PM and Agile PM methodologies
- Over 5 years of experience in operations, with a focus on process management and quality
- Expertise in systems integration and IT demand processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Knowledge of Automation Engineering, IoT solutions, and Cybersecurity
