Hitachi Energy is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist for its Grid Integration Business Unit. The successful applicant will be responsible for the conception, planning and implementing of external web and intranet pages while managing and updating the content on various platforms daily. A key member of the GI Communications team, the Digital Communications Specialist will focus on supporting social media, videos and other digital communications activities together with other specialists across the other business units and in alignment with Company strategy. This position will report to Head of Communications, GI.

Your responsibilities
- Implement updates on the web and the intranet based on strategy. This includes enhancements and integration of other tools and processes.
- Regular update of web content with the objective of increasing the effectiveness and improving its usability to better accommodate customer and market needs.
- Regular update of content on the intranet to increase internal information flow, awareness of business activities and dialogue within the organization.
- Post communications activities e.g. press releases, web stories, organizational announcements, etc.
- Coordination and support of technical web activities.
- Analytics and monitoring of web platforms.
- Support SEO implementation for product pages.
- Creation and maintenance of a design asset library and image bank.
- Develop and implement social media and video plans and campaigns.
- Edit and coordinate content for social media channels.
- Ensure all multi-media materials are aligned with the company's branding guidelines.
- Support the team in creating multi-media content and presentations according to the company's brand guidelines.
- Create and send batch emails and newsletters using Outlook shared mailbox or Eloqua.
- Support marketing automation strategy (email automation).
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Communications GI and GI Communications team, countries/region web managers, and other specialists of the Shared Service Center.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of CMS experience (web, web usability, analytics, etc.).
- A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and Adobe analytics.
- Knowledge of graphic design and image editing software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of video production and editing skills using Adobe After Effects or Premiere.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
- Extensive PowerPoint design skills.
- Knowledge of the latest social media strategies and campaigns.
- Interest in refining skills and knowledge as well as training on new tools in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Knowledge of HTML helpful but not required.
- Understanding of the B2B business environment and experience in working in matrix organization.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, organized self-driven person with a strong commitment to quality.
- Proven experience in effectively communicating with different stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global team from remote, as well as define targets and priorities independently.
- Flexible to work mid-shift hours i.e. 11 am - 8 am.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ideally based in Philippines.
