Mission Statement:

We are looking for an experienced Country HSE Specialist. This role will be based out of Bengaluru location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and report weekly, monthly, quarterly report on safety metric to Country HSE & Sustainability Head.
  • Implement Country level Safety programs. Analyze performance of sites /Report to management on timely basis.
  • Regularly hold meetings with stakeholders to communicate HSE updates, performance and HSE issues and gather information on HSE issues to support sites.
  • Monitor contractor management process. Monitor contractor HSE compliance and report issues if any.
  • Monitor Incident management. Participate in root cause analysis and support sites.
  • Support sites to achieve compliance to all applicable HSE legislations and update compliance status to the Country Management.
  • Support Real Estate in HSE matters and monitor HSE compliance in Real Estate sites.
  • Lead implementation of Hitachi Energy Global HSE policies and practices in the Country.
  • Visit manufacturing sites, service centers, project sites, offices and real estate projects, conduct Safety Observation Tours, Life safety rules inspections and ensure timely closure of HSE findings that require actions.
  • Facilitate training programs on the impact of emerging HSE issues at all levels in an organization and cascade to local teams.
  • Coordinate with SCM for HSE related purchases.
  • Identify training needs and support Business

Your Background:

  • BE Electrical degree with IDIP NEBOSH preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
