As Local HR Business Partner and Country HR Manager for Belgium, you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with the Global HR strategy and local regulations. You will provide advice, guidance, and support to a variety of stakeholders. You will work in a vibrant international environment, being the counterpart of Line Managers located in different countries. You will report to the Region HR Head Europe.

Responsibilities:
In your role of Local HRBP you will:
- Implement HR priorities in the organization in line with the Global HR strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio and be able to propose new solutions where appropriate.
- Act as a business partner and facilitator to business, supporting managers and employees through organizational changes.
- Collaborate with managers on performance and talent management activities.
- Engage with employees and managers on a variety of HR topics.

In your role of Country HR Manager for Belgium you will:
- Ensure partnering with the Country Managing Director and other senior leaders to ensure compliant people practices and policies in Belgium.
- Act as a country labor relations manager, ensuring strong labor and key stakeholder relations both internally and externally.
- Negotiate agreements with employee representative bodies
- Lead discussions and manage relationships with local collective bargaining groups such as trade unions and employee committees (CSE, etc.).
- Establish and represent Hitachi Energy as the employer of choice in the country and in alignment with the employer branding strategy.
- Represent Hitachi Energy in the local country environment and actively manage partnerships.
- Implement various group and global compensation strategies.
- Drive alignment, collaboration, team spirit and engagement within the HR team in country to ensure an effective and efficient HR execution.
- Support the implementation of the global business and HR strategy within the country.
- Ensure alignment and effective internal communication on HR-related topics across all stakeholder groups.
- Seek and realize opportunities for simplification and harmonization within the country.
- Facilitate the understanding of the HR Operating Model across HR and other functions in the country.
Your background:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or similar.
- Several years as HR Business Partner supporting teams in Belgium ideally within a fast-paced global organization
- Excellent business understanding, negotiation and influencing skills as well as change management
- Deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in Belgium
- Knowledge and expertise related to HR policies in Belgium, processes and practices of Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management and Global Mobility
- Leadership without authority; proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Credibility and recognition of ethical behaviours
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch (minimum B2 level), English and French (minimum B2 level)
- This role is 80% part-time negotiable (Hybrid-remote)
