This position is responsible for developing, managing, and streamlining inventory accounting & reporting. This role will oversee and coordinate global inventory accounting & reporting. Assist Local Finance Teams with technical accounting matters related to inventory accounting & reporting and provide guidance as required. Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating global inventory accounting & reporting including but not limited to reviewing the monthly inventory balance sheet positions for each entity to identify any anomalies (e.g., inventory balance with no corresponding inventory reserve).
- Participate in the quarterly inventory analysis review process for all entities and develop a plan to ensure all entities reserve balances are reviewed by Corporate Accounting at least annually. Identify areas that require improvement and ensure consistency with Company policy.

- Ten (10) or more years of accounting experience, most recently in a management capacity, required
- Experience in cost accounting, required
- CPA required

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications. CPA is strongly preferred.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $109,807 to $171,574 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
