This position is responsible for the assembly and building of web pages within the content management system. They will focus on creating landing pages on the site and updating web page copy provided by the business. They will also be responsible for supporting day-to-day site updates across multiple platforms and brands. This role will be required to request asset delivery partnering with the creative team. This role will be critical assisting in the migration of content from legacy websites to the new GEP website and report directly into Sr Manager Content Architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop digital content (focused on eCommerce site) that meets business objectives from beginning to end (commercial marketing teams will be responsible for delivery of all marketing copy)
  • Coordinate with SEO team to ensure high-performing keywords are incorporated into digital copy for maximum engagement
  • Assembles digital assets, copy, and other content into templates
  • Collaborate with senior members of the content team to receive template approval and publish finalized content on the site
  • Gather content from various teams and systems needed to populate website content, including digital assets and copy
  • Review final assets to ensure accuracy of imagery, messaging, pricing, and linking and SEO tagging
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to meet SLA and development timelines
  • Ensure content is displayed in a consistent and logical manner to ensure an optimal user experience

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • 6-12 months experience creating digital copy, preferably for an eCommerce site
  • Familiarity with SEO and understanding of how to integrate keywords into copy
  • Able to powerfully communicate key messages
  • Able to tailor content according to key purpose - to sell or to inform
  • Able to conduct keyword research on relevant and high-performing search terms
  • Have a foundational understanding of the eCommerce landscape and sales funnel
  • Experience managing copy and content production for an eCommerce site (preferably using Sitecore)
  • Able to manage multiple projects across different teams at once and deliver on time
  • Experience with content management system technology

GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
  • Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Basic analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $46,451-$81,446 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
