Here at GXO, we're looking for an experienced Shift Manager, to join us at our Daventry 535 site. Reporting to Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-performing teams of flexible, engaged colleagues who focus on delivering operational excellence, to put our customers first.

This is a full-time, permanent role, there you'll be working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of£40,500per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Carry out the day-to-day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, KPI's and driving continuous improvements
  • Monitor financial performance and manage weekly hours to budget.
  • Build a strong relationship with our customer and the wider on-site operational teams.
  • Maintaining H&S in the workplace.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse
  • The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
  • Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis
