Are you looking for an exciting, hands-on opportunity in warehouse operations? Join our dynamic team in Sywell as a Pallet Maintenance Operative! This is not your typical warehouse job. You will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing LPR pallets and get hands-on experience with power tools.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, covering 12-hour shifts, on a '4 on4 off' basis. The shift consists of 2 days and 2 nights, spanning from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Manually and semi-automatically sorting and inspecting pallets to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Using a reciprocating saw and air-powered nail gun to repair pallets (full training provided)
  • Efficiently handling the unloading and loading of pallets from trailers, ensuring smooth and timely operations
  • Working to achieve production deadlines and targets to contribute to the overall success of our team
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • A strong work ethic and an optimistic attitude
  • Physical stamina, as this role is quite demanding
  • Experience with power tools is advantageous
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
