We are looking for an Operations manager to support the current Ops team in our growing Distribution centre in Lelystad.
You will be covering the operation 24/7 on 3 rotations, playing a vital part in ensuring that the dispatch operation runs effectively, and the goods are able to go out on a day-to-day basis.

What you do on a typical day
• Responsible for the whole Operations Process in your rotation
• Lead and drive the operation from the front, ensuring compliance, performance, and the delivery of a world-class service to our customer.

• Set, agree, and manage objectives and KPI's with direct reports to achieve a 'best in class operation!
• Measure and review operational performance against company and customer KPI's and implement appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement.
• Drive communication, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse with a constant focus on reviewing and improving processes.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate Lelystad Platform operation during shifts / areas
• Plan the weekly workload, establishing priorities to achieve the set goals
• Provide training and assessments to teams. Performance evaluations
• Guarantee the necessary resources for Warehouse Managers
• Coordinate Warehouse Manager teams
What you need to succeed at GXO
• Bachelor's degree/HBO in related fields
• Min 3 years of experience in Logistics/warehouse knowledge (Operations Manager) in automated logistics / distribution centres / warehouse / stockrooms
• Good PC skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook along with knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets and data
• Knowledge of English at a professional level
• Knowledge of Spanishand Dutch is also an advantage
• Management skills, Leadership, Motivation
• Planning, conflict analysis and resolution
