Here at GXO we are looking for aproactive Transport Support Managerto join our drinks team in Runcorn, you will provide leadership and effective management of Fleet teams so that all objectives and targets are achieved. Ensuring effective communications are developed with and between departments and business streams in order to meet objectives within prescribed timescale.

This is full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, rotating over 3 different shifts, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 and 22:00 to 06:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £30,633.36 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Coordinating and prioritising activity across the shifts and business streams to ensure customer service requirements are met
  • Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI'S) through effective use of resources and management of staff
  • Maintaining accurate records and planning to ensure targets are achieved within the financial costings
  • Encouraging employee participation in method improvement, raising quality and effective team working
  • Promoting a flexible approach to delivering business requirements.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communication
  • Sound operational knowledge and experience whilst customer focus is a priority
  • Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills with people management experience with ability to develop a multi-skilled and flexible team
  • PC Skills: Excel, Word and knowledge of DLOG, LES, ESP and GTS
