Here at GXO we are looking for sTransport Planner to join our busy Multi-User site at Amber Park . You'll be responsible forliaising with customers to communicate vehicle updates/availability.

This is a full-time, permanent position, y ou'll work on a Monday - Friday basis, covering 10:00 - 18:00 hours. We ask for some flexibility as there maybe the occasional weekend work during peak times... this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Liaising with drivers, ensuring they implement customers' instructions
  • Answering drivers' queries and actioning accordingly
  • General administration duties and data entry
  • Taking bookings and sending/uploading POD's

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous Transport Planner experience - advantageous
  • A good knowledge of UK routes, motorways, towns and cities
  • A good understanding of procedures when delivering/collecting freight - advantageous
  • Computer literacy - (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Training given on in-house software system, including GTS and ESP
