- Manage team performance; develop associates by providing training and coaching
- Manage coordinators
- Instruct, inform, and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI's and productivities)
- Maintain a safe work environment with a positive team dynamic
- Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
- Make recommendations regarding new hires, terminating contracts, performance evaluations and promotions
- Ensure that documents work instructions of processes are up to date and are being followed by the department
- Continually strive to improve the processes of your department
- You report to the Shift lead
- You work in shifts so flexibility to work in shifts will be required
- You have at least three years of experience in a similar position, managing a large team
- You have good communication skills at multiple levels in English
- You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, and you have a self-starting ability
- You have good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality
- Logistics automation knowledge and experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential
- Market-based salary, fits your knowledge and experience
