We are currently recruiting for a Stock Team Leader at our site in Sherburn in Elmet.

You will be responsible for overseeing the stock team and managing all aspects of the stock operation, whilst ensuring customer service level agreements are achieved andall stock-related queries are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Joining us on a permanent, full-time basis, you'll work on a shift pattern of 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £27,018.63 per annum and 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Support operations with the smooth flow of stock through varying storage locations to ensure most appropriate storage method is selected
  • Provide accurate and meaningful information for the production of management reports for senior management and the customer on a daily, weekly and period basis
  • Undertake planned and unplanned stock checks and investigations from receipt through to point of despatch, ensuring stock integrity in line with contractual KPIs
  • Ensure all direct reports are trained to carry out their duties and encourage training and development where required

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
  • Ability to navigate a Warehouse Management System, using it to conduct investigations and run reports
  • Previous experience participating in audits or related activity including stock investigations
  • Ability to read and understand operational documentation which contains stock related information
